National award-winning cinematographer Thiru of ‘Hey Ram’ and ’24’ fame has been signed to replace Bollywood cameraman Sudeep Chatterjee in historical period film ‘Sangamithra’, which will be directed by Sundar C.
Sudeep Chatterjee is currently working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Deepika Padukone-starrer Padmavati and hence he could not join the team of Sangamithra.
“Happy to announce that am on board for #Sangamithra an exciting script and a challenging project with Sundar.C and @ThenandalFilms”, wrote cinematographer Thiru on his Twitter page.
The movie produced by Sri Thenandal Films stars Arya, Jayam Ravi and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The music for the film will be composed by AR Rahman.
